As you know, we acquired a group of customers from the old InReach company several years ago. We were given permission to service your email, but we were not given complete control of your email domain. That domain is still held by the original InReach owners. They are required to renew its status every year in order for it to work for email. Last month, the inreach.com domain itself expired and was offline for 2 days before they renewed it. There are some other domains held by the former owners that they haven't renewed yet after being expired for over a week, and we can't guarantee that those will get renewed at all. The only information we have from the former owners is that they intend to sell off their domains starting in May, 2016, so even if they do renew the domains, email may stop working at that time.
Emails at these domains will stop working in May 2016
and MAY stop working on the following domain renewal dates!
If the former owners renew the above domains, email will continue to
work until May, 2016 when they sell the domains. But if they fail
to, mail will stop working on the above renewal dates. What we suggest is that you setup an alternate email address and start notifying your contacts that you may be switching email addresses shortly. To help, we can offer you a replacement email address at the domain sum.net (at no additional charge to our existing customers), which we do control and is very easy to spell and remember, so if you would like an email address @sum.net, please just let us know what you would like that address to be and what you would like for a password. The password should be at least 8 characters long with letters, numbers and a special character. If you prefer to setup a free email at another provider like Google's Gmail, that's fine too, but we recommend doing it as soon as possible. After your new email is setup, you can program your wt.net email to forward to the new email so you can check your mail all in one place.
If you do get another email address from Google or somewhere else, let us know what it is so we can update our contact information for you.
We apologize for the length of this notice but felt a detailed explanation was important. We know your email address is important to you, so don't hesitate to email or call us if you have any questions.
